Turning one on the Alcan Highway to Alaska, Spencer was raised with a wondering heart. Frequently moving as a child, he discovered the American landscape in a different light. At age five, Spencer began making films with his brother Barrett and their Zenith VHS camcorder. Since then, film/video was used as a means of expression through high school and into college, as a film major. Somewhere along the way a guitar was found and he began playing music, naturally combining the two interests in time. Now residing in the northwest, Spencer spends time making films and recording music under the name Bell Plaines.
